Spiritual Death, Spiritual Life, and the Need to Be Born-Again

by Dale Partridge

Soteriology is the study of salvation in Scripture. While many Christians understand the basics of the Gospel, many do not have a robust comprehension of how they were saved. That is, they don’t understand the biblical process that takes a soul from lost to found or from spiritually dead to spiritually alive.

In this episode of Real Christianity, pastor Dale Partridge takes listeners through a systematic study of the concept of “death as separation” and explains how our dead status necessitates God as the initiator of salvation. In other words, listeners will see God’s sovereignty over their salvation and truly understand the meaning behind being born-again.
