Romans 3:25b-26: The Justice and Justification of God

by Dale Partridge

According to the Bible, we do not have an unjust God. That is, we do not have a God who overlooks sin. Today, many Christians think that God’s mercy takes the place of God’s justice. This is untrue. God does not compromise His justice to save sinners.

The Gospel teaches us that no sin will go unpunished. The penalty for man’s sin will either be laid upon the Savior or laid upon the sinner. In this episode, pastor Dale Partridge continues his journey through the book of Romans where he uncovers the justice and justification of God.

‘whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.’
