Is Dale Partridge Ordained?

by Dale Partridge

To provide context for my story, it’s essential to establish a clear understanding of ordination. I find this article to be particularly helpful in shedding light on this matter.

As for my own journey, yes, I have been ordained. In 2017, I was sent out to plant a church in our home in Oregon. Our statement of faith adhered to a Congregationalist belief, emphasizing that the congregation has the authority to appoint individuals to church office. For the first year, I functioned as a preacher, but in 2018 the congregation formally designated me as an elder and pastor by the laying on of hands. By the grace of God, some of the men who participated in my ordination are now serving as elders within the congregation today. In 2021, due to poor health, my family and I relocated to Arizona, where we planted another church that has now become King’s Way Bible Church.
